The National Hospice Foundation is committed to improving end-of-life care and expanding access to hospice and palliative care services to improve the quality of life for those who are dying and their loved ones. This organization coordinates hospice and palliative care programs across the world. Caring Connections and the NHPCO are part of it. There is also another organization called
“The Foundation for Hospices in Sub-Saharan Africa” that falls under this organization.

The HFA website gives patients, families, and professionals information about hospice, the process of dying, and how patients can be best cared for at the end of life. For professionals, there are a number of different publications available through the site, as well as informational videos and professional education materials.
